[Review] Etude House Correct & Care CC Cream Silky

Hello there my turtle doves!
Today I am finally (yes, I say finally because I have had this for a good few months but haven’t got around to do a review so sorry for that…) here with my first ever CC cream review.
I am probably the last person on earth to review this but hey ho, I wanna do it anyway so here we go!
I got the silky version which is for oilier skin types. I must give Etude a pat on the back for being one of a few companies to bring out a non-“shiny/glowy” cc cream as well. THANK YOU!
You can aslo see here all the 8 in 1 functions/benefits this CC cream has! Plus SPF 30/PA++. Sunprotection is always appreciated!
Ingredients list!
That’s enough of the box I think ~
Now, the packaging is really simple which we all love. Simplicity = easy to use.
Your “standard” pump packaging ~
Now for swatches :j
Some of you probably know that most CC creams are white, yes white. With tiiiiny black “beed” looking things in it. But do not fear my friends, you will not look like a ghost because once you blend it…
It turns into your skincolour, slightly lighter because of it’s “whitening” effect.
The texture is a mix between creamy and watery. Not greasy at all. Feels absolutely lovely on the skin and when it’s all blended, it feels like you’re wearing nothing. Blends beautifully without enhancing dry patches (at least not on me). When it sets it’s a demi-matte finish so for me who loves a good matte face, powder on top is necessary. Skin is smooth and more even after applying this to ma face!
Before ~
After ~ On my face (during better skin days…) My skin is brighter, more even, and smooth.
The coverage is not high, however do cover pores quite well on it’s own. But CC creams are not meant to have high coverage. Either you can use it underneath your bb cream which I have tried and loved, or, you can use it on it’s own and slap on some concealer too to cover up any imperfections. That’s what I do as well. But if you’re blessed with almost perfect skin (damn lucky you..), you wouldn’t even need concealer.
The smell (to me) is a mix of clay-esk and a bit citrusy? Maybe that’s wrong but my nose thinks that that’s the smell of it aha…
Now lasting power ~ I have combination skin so not too oily but not normal skin either. With only CC cream on I’d say it lasts maybe 3-4 hours but then it’s starting to melt off my face proper bad…
With concealer and powder, amazingly up to 7-8 hours before I start to look quite greasy (no top ups during the day).
I am very impressed with this CC cream and would warmly recommend it!
If I forgot to mention something just tell me ~ Have a lovely Valentines day everyone and I hope this was helpful!

[Review] Canmake Cheek & Cheek #02 Rose Tiara

Hi there! Today I’m back with a japanese makeup product from my favourite drugstore brand, Canmake. It’s their Cheek&Cheek blush.
The description of this blush from Canmakes website:
“Flower-like colors.High-color shades that will make it look as though your cheeks are suddenly flushed with happiness. The moist powder clings tightly to your cheeks.Use the two shades cleverly to make your face look smaller! Layer the two shades to discover your very own color!”
image
image
I got the colour #02 which is called Rose Tiara. It’s a mix between a baby pink shade and a bright pink shade.
image
The blush is basically a matte type, however it has teeny tiny shees in it. So no sparkles or shimmers. The brush you get with the blush is so so soft. Works well with the blush but I usually use my bigger blush brush.

Swatches ~

I’m very impressed with this blush! It’s very pigmented, cute packaging, and it doesn’t have any particular smell. The texture is very soft and smooth, so very easy to blend.
However be careful, it’s actually that pigmented that it’s easy to overapply which I accidentally did once… My friend was like wow your cheeks are PINK. So unless you like that look, I do suggest to apply little and then build up. It’s so pigmented I would dare to compare it as a cheaper version of M.A.C blushes.

Mixing the colours is what I usually do and I really like how it looks. It does give you “dolly-cheeks” look. Very cute.
Retailing at 680 Yen it’s an amazing blush. I however got it from Ichibankao.com for 1350 Yen, but that price includes shipping too.

I have nothing negative to say about this blush!
Have a wonderful day and I hope this helped!

[Review] Etude House I Need You Vitamin Complex Mask Sheet

Hello everyone, long time no see!
I’ve been in England for the past week and a half to visit my lovely boyfriend and haven’t had time for blogging…
But now I’m back and ready to go until the end of the year, and today I thought I’d share a quick review of one of the face mask I used yesterday  ~
image
image
This mask has a tiny bit of a medical kinda smell to it.. Difficult to explain but it’s not a nasty smell at all. Fully loaded with essence which is creamy and non sticky.
After removing the mask the remaining essence sinks in quick and leaves my skin soft and smooth.
The morning after I’m hardly oily (not used any other products after it) and very nice soft skin.
I’m gonna say this with all single masks I review, you need to use them more than once to get a long term resuly but I really enjoy using these masks from Etude!
I hope this was helpful

[Review] Etude House Rosy Tint Lips #4 Sweet Poison

Hello loves!
So I thought I’d put up two reviews today, and the second is about a absolutely gorgeous liptint from Etudes autumn collection & Rose ~
image
You have to admit that both the box and the packaging is super gorgeous! I feel like Etude really put effort into this one for some reason ~
image
Some information ~
image
image
I got the colour number 4 which is called Sweet Poison.
image
This tint is formed a bit different from what I’ve seen before, with a sponge. I like the idea, the only exception is that the tube itself is so hard so it’s difficult to squeeze some product out…
image
image
It is a super gorgeous fushia/dark raspberry colour! I'ts so pretty! And these tints are SO pigmented it riddiculous (in a good way). So you do not need to apply loads to achieve a strong colour!
They’re not like the liquidy tints, it’s more like a lipcream texture which I think is easier to work with. They smell like rosehip which is very nice and glides on beautifully on the lips.
A gradient effect with not much product applied. Pretty right?
Full force on lips. Isn’t it just so gorgeous? The finish is matte and stays on so well!

image
The second tiny problem except for the tube is that it transfers quite easily…

But other than that, I dare to say this is my favourite tint of the year!
It’s just so perfect inevery single way. Colour, texture, pigmentation, finish. I love this so much and I have to get some more colours!
I hope this was helpful

[Review] Etude House Vivid Popstick #4 Popstick Baby

Hi everyone! Long time no see….
Today I’m here with one of my favourite lipsticks from Etude House. The Vivid Popstick ~
image
image
The packaging is really simple. But I like that. It’s basically like a pen. Very easy to use.
image
Swatch ~ A gorgeous fushia pink. Creamy with a matte finish.
image
As a gradiant lip. Super pretty if you’re into Ulzzang makeup!
image
All over ~  It’s SO pigmented and the colour is so beautiful.
There is not one thing I don’t like about this product. Great application, lasting power is fab and also gives a little stain. Texture, colour. Everything. But I would recommend like with any lipstick that you exfoliate your lips a bit before to not enhance dryness.
I hope this was helpful

[Review] Etude House I Need You Tea Tree & Lemon Mask Sheet

Hey guys! Sorry I’ve been so absent lately, it’s just cause I’ve been busy and all that, but today I have a skincare product review whaaaaat. It’s kinda rare on my blog I know but I dunno. I’t just easer to do makeup, feels like skincare reviews takes ages for some reason ahah…. Maybe I’m just a weirdo.
Anyhow, first of all, I think these masks might not be “new” in that way cause the I Need You masks sounds familiar to me. But they have definitely re-packaged them if that’s the case and added more masks in the line! There’s now from A-Z plus a heart mask which I also bought ~
I bought eight from the line, tried two so far and I adore them!
image
image
I’ve always wanted to try tea tree masks for some reason and here is what I think of it ~
Tea Tree [Trouble Care]
It smells natural and fresh. The masks are very riched in essence and the masks are thin and nice. The essence is kinda creamy in a way but not heavy, sticky or greasy feeling what so ever. It’s cool and refreshing on the face. The overall feeling of the mask is lighter compared to Etudes Take Care Of My Skin Masks ( the one with 20 sheets in) and I have the Aloe one.
After I take the mask off my skin is not sticky at all when I massage in the essence that’s still on the skin, which it usually feels like when I’ve used the Take care masks. And my skin feels lighter too in a way. The essence sinks in quicker and my skin feels very smooth afterwards.
The morning after I still have the same soft and smooth skin feeling with just a tiny bit of oilyness on my cheeks and nose (because I have combination skin). And I didn’t use any products after to see how my skin would be the next morning.

Lemon [Tone Clarifying]
This one smells kind of artificial lemons but it doesn’t bother me and it’s not overwhemlingly strong either. Also drenched in lovely essence ~
Afterwards, same thing. Sinks in quick, light and smooth skin. Like SO smooth with this one. A tiiiiiny tightening feeling on my forehead. The morning after, a teeny tiny bit less red, still smooth and soft skin with a tiny bit of oilyness. I didn’t use any products after this one either.
Okay, conclusion time!
I do have to point out that I think you have to of course use more than one mask to see any bigger difference, but I still like these two a lot and I can’t wait to try the other ones I have :)
I hope this was helpful xx

[Review] TheFaceShop Lovely ME:EX You & Face Blusher #06 Fuzzy Peach & #07 Pink Peach

Hi dolls! I hope you are doing well ~
Sorry for my slight absence lately but I just have lost a bit of inspiration to blog recently… But I kinda miss doing it at the same time, so let’s continue with some blusher reviews today!
image
First off, I love the packaging of these blushers! Super cute and quite small actually ~
image
Back + ingredients list in English quite surprisingly!
image
They’re both very pretty pastel colors.
image
Swatched.
image
Almost fully blended.
Now I must say I’m not really impressed with theses blushers unfortunately.
Firstly the smell makes them feel cheap. The smell (sadly) reminds me of the really cheap makeup you used to get when you we’re like 6 in magazines. Maybe that’s just me but I don’t really like it to be honest.
Secondly they may look pigmented in the swatches, but they’re not. Not on my cheeks at least. You have to swirl your brush several times to get any colour at all on your face, and it barely shows up anyway. And thirdly, when you do that, there’s a ton of fallout…
The only pros is the packaging, colors and the texture is pretty smooth ~
So sadly these products didn’t work out for me. Not all “cheaper” drugstore products can be amazing everytime ~
I hope this helped xx

[Review] Missha M Super-Extreme Waterproof Soft Pencil Eyeliner Auto (Brown)

Okay, so I have a slight fear for waterproof products when it comes to the eye area.
BUT
I found this eyeliner from Missha and read a few good reviews on it so despite the fact it is waterproof I was like fuck it, and purchased it anyway. I can say I did not regret my decision ~
image
I like the packaging a lot. Reminds me of EsteƩ Lauder for some reason ~
image
The long end is the pencil itself. Easy to use and you screw it out and back.
image
The short end is a smudger ~ I really like this too, soft spunge and doesn’t drag on my eyelids.
image
Swatched ~ It’s a really nice ashy toned brown with no red undertones. I like more ashy toned browns when it domes to brows and eyeliners. Eyshadows are fine :)
Okay let’s test the waterproof-ness!
image
image
After quite a bit of rubbing ~
image
All dried. Basically gone ~
I honestly don’t mind this being quite easy to wash off, I don’t think I would’ve liked it if the eyeliner were impossible to get off with just water.
However on my eyes it does not move and even when I smudge it, it still stays put. And when I take it off from my eyes I use my cleansing oil to be extra sure everything comes off and it never leaves any residue or “stain” like my Innisfree one ~
The liner itself is creamy but not as creamy as Etudes Drawing show liners which are a few of my faves. But I like the consistency an it doesn’t tug on my eyes either.
The lasting power is very long. Let’s just say if I put it on with eyeshadows it doesn’t move through the whole day. I have actually not tried it without a primer, and since I have a tendency for oily eyelids I’m not sure how it’s gonna stay put. However I do think it will stay on pretty long since the formula isn’t too soft.
Did I forget something now..?
The pencil itself is pretty thin, thinner than Etudes creamy liners. So it’s easier to get a thinner line ~
It’s on the affordable side and I do believe they have other colors as well!
I love this liner and would warmly recommend it!
I hope this was helpful xx
