Hello all my little pretty pumpkins! I hope you’re all having a great Halloween, mine is actually not that eventfull haha.
Anyway, today I’m back with a bb cream review which my blog doesn’t have a lot of unfortunately. This time of HolikaHolika Clearing BB which is for oily skin ~
The packaging is quite small actually and it’s a squishy tube.
Everything in the back is in korean so I can’t really tell you what it states.
To be completely honest, I don’t like the packaging. Whenever I wanna use this, it’s so hard to have control over how much product you squeeze out. I always end up with too much for my face. Although I of course don’t use it all, it feels like such a waste to have to get rid of all that excess product. I much more prefer pump packagings such as Etudes Precious mineral BB creams.
Swatching time ~
There’s only one shade available in this so not so good if you have a darker skintone. I’d say it’s a light to medium beige. The consistency is nice and not too thick. The smell though is pretty strong. Kind of perfume-esk which I’m not the biggest fan of.
I chose not to show it on my face today cause right now I’m suffering from a little breakout, so hand swatch today will have to do. It blends really nice on my face however the coverage isn’t very great so a cocealer top up is needed.
It feels pretty light on my skin but if you apply too much it can feel heavy.
With a powder on top it stays nice for at least 4 hours on me. After that a touch up is needed.
For $4.65 it is a nice bb cream, however I don’t feel like I would buy it again.
I’d rather pay a bit more next time I buy a new bb cream. I don’t like the scent, or the coverage but if you have really nice skin you’d like this. I’m not sure how this would work on dry skin but it’s not a very dry formula so it could work but I’m not sure. It works pretty well with my combination skin anyway.
Next on my BB wishlist is Etudes any cushion ~
I hope this was helpful xx
