TheFaceShop Lovely ME:EX Angel Skin Loose Powder & Powder Pact Review

Hi loves!
The powder freak is here again ~ Today I’m going to do another “double-revew”. A loose powder vs it’s pact form buddy!
image
I love the packaging! These are actually the first face products from TheFaceShop that I’m trying out ^^
Let’s start with the powder pact!
image
Comes with a puff and mirror! (I basically never use the puffs to be honest…) It’s reasonably thin which makes it purse-friendly
image
There used to be a “Lovely” printed on the powder but it’s almost gone.
Now here comes one con about this powder, it smells like hairspray. More exactly like Lorea'l Elnett Satin hairspray. Let me just inform you that the hairspray has a BAD old-lady smell. Not nice at all… However the scent doesn’t stay long on your face thank god…
Compared to my Skinfood Fresh Light Pact which smells way to strong of grapes, I’d actually rather have that smell on my face than “old lady”…

Ingredients ~ Let’s just say I’ve seen a better list
image
It has a bit of yellow undetones and is a very light beige. I have the NB21 which I think is the lighter out of two, correct me if I’m wrong.
image
I have a tan at the moment for being out in the sun woo!  It normally suits me just fine but since I’m slightly darker now it’s a bit to light for me at the moment.
On to the loose version ~
image
I was so surprised when I got this. It’s freakin’ huge haha… You get a lot of product! I took the “hole” cover thing off cause it just bugs me when I only use my powder brush and never the puff. The puff that came with this powder was super soft and squishy though…
image
This powder only comes in one colour. This one actaully smells nice! Not bad at all, pretty strange since it’s just the loose form but okay…
It’s more of a pink based beige colour.

Ingrediens ~ I’ve seen better here too…

Swatch. Now this one is also to light for me at the moment but it’s just fine when I haven’t got a tan :j
CONCLUSION!
Pros +
Both makes skin super soft and matte
* Lasting power is good, about 5 hours or more (both have the same ammount of hours)
* Keeps my face matte
* Very fine and soft powders
* Easy to blend
* Affordable
* Packaging
* Price
* Doesn’t change the colour of your BB cream
* Don’t cling to dry spots (I don’t even know if I have any though…)
* Oil control is quite fab!
Cons -
* The pacts smell
* Ingredients
* Perhaps not the most full-coverage powders (but it’s not really a con since they both are more of setting powders)
Which one do I prefer? Even though they both do the exact same thing I think the loose one. I don’t really know why. I’m just into loose powders at the moment and it feels it covers my pores more. And because it doesn’t smell like old lady :)
That’s it folks! I hope this helped xx
